FYI the SE route from the trailhead on Fall River Rd is very clear of snow all the way up.

Has anyone been up James Peak from St. Mary's recently? Interested in what the snow cover is like on the flat area and the upper slopes of James for a ski decent. Thanks!

Has anyone tried James Peak lately? I'm planning on visiting St. Mary's tomorrow (Monday).

Check the conditions page for Parry Peak, should be similar.

A week ago it was continuous snow from bottom of glacier to summit. Approach trail was mostly dry.

I summitted James Pk yesterday (6/3/2017). Besides the flat area near the top of the glacier, there is continuous snow from the bottom of the glacier to the summit. Here's a picture I took from the top of the glacier.
