Pomeroy Mountain

Me, my girlfriend, and two friends left the crowds and hit the high country the weekend of July 26th, 2013. We headed west around 3pm for our high mountain adventure - our target was a couple of lakes in San Isabel National Forest with a nearby 13'er to climb.. I was able to take my stock 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee up a 4X4 road over a mile to help trim our hike down. We camped above treeline for the weekend, hiked a 13er mountain, fished for cutthroats, ate around the campfire, and then go rained on. All in all, it was an awesome weekend above the trees!!!

what Pomeroy are you referring to, the one nearby Nederland or one in Sawatch area?
where did you come across those stunning ruins?

If you search a mountain name and colorado in google earth, you get almost exact imagery that lets you compare and identify:
