James Peak

Postby Breebee » Mon Apr 08, 2013 9:15 am

Hello, so I just posted an update request on Sherman, and I am posting this because James Peak is my backup lol. If anyone has more recent conditions on James Peak, snow conditions, etc. We would be able to get snow shoes but that would be the extent of our snow abilities. Any help would be great, thanks!!

Generally during this time of year, if you stay to the ascender's right side of the 'glacier' you'll only need snowshoes, at most. It gets steep on the left side toward the bottom.
There is some avy-ish terrain on the right above the route, so make sure you check conditions after the coming storm.
