Grey Needle next to Jagged

Post by sgladbach »

Does anyone have experience on Grey Needle? ItI believe it is the furthest west spire on Jagged. Even west of the higher "No Name Needle." Looking for photo beta, approach and route beta, pro beta.

Steve,

I don't know if you saw this thread: http://www.14ers.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... e&start=12" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; but that's mostly just trying to figure out which spire it actually is. It does mention that Kefier was going to give it a try (not sure if those plans changed) and it sounds like John Prater, Tom Pierce, or Dave Landers may have the info you are looking for (if you haven't already reached out to them).

When will you be down there? We've got a group heading in at the end of the month.

Edit - I guess Tom has already chimed in.

Judging from a spot message yesterday, it appears that someone has climbed Grey Needle ( =D> ) and will have some info on it....as well as Sunlight Spire from 2 days prior.
