West Apostle from Lake Ann

Thinking about backpacking up to Lake Ann and then climbing West Apostle from there. I think there is a route in the Roach 13er book but I don't have that. What is the route like up to the west ridge, any advice?

From Lake Ann, go east up to a north running ridge that connects to the west ridge of West Apostle.
(class 2)

Go up the west ridge to the summit. Gets a bit scrambly near the summit. (maybe class 3?).

There is good camping on the benches on the east side above the lake.
