Skywalker Couloir 6/25/2010

Post by caverdude »

I just onsight soloed the Skywalker couloir and what an awesome climb. Definitely get an early start. I started on the snow climbing section just before 7am and about 1/2 way up the rockfall started. It's releasing mostly from the runnel source on the right side of the couloir, so once you are above the source the rockfall diminishes greatly. Better yet...get an earlier start than me! The snow was a little soft at the bottom, but was excellent the rest of the way up. Even the Leia exit was great for climbing.
