I'm looking for some routes with low avy risk this time of year. Do these fall into that category?
Hoosier Ridge from Hoosier Pass
Grizzly from Loveland Pass - what about adding Torreys?
Any suggestions for low avy risk routes within 30-45 min drive from Breck?
Thanks!

Re: Low Avy Risk Routes
Both are low avy risk hikes. Hoosier Ridge has one short area that might be of concern as you're gaining the ridge, but it might be melted or windblown by now or you can avoid it. Grizzly from Loveland would have very low avy concerns and snowshoes are generally not needed (but microspikes or stabilicers might be nice to have). Quandary is low avy risk as well.

You can continue on to Torrey's from Grizzly, but it will be a pretty long day.
Bross is pretty safe but the mountain itself is pretty boring. The approach may be long depending on how far they have the road plowed.
