Snow conditions on Colorado's western slope?

Post by MtnHermit »

So how high has the snow melted on Colorado's western slope? Please be specific as to location and snow conditions.

I've been hiking in the Mosquito Range and below 10,000 feet on south facing slopes almost zero snow. A foot on north facing slopes.

Please don't post a rant on the snow pack or lack thereof.

Thanks

any specific regions that you are looking for?...the snow conditions change a lot depending on where you go...in the elks there is deep snow on all aspects above 9,000ft...cant attest to anywhere else.
