The ridge is easy, just class 2 if I remember correctly. I ran it in the fall with a bunch of new snow and it was trivial even then. Enjoy, these are some nice peaks. I wonder if the huge cross is still on Emma Burr? I know Ryan whose trip report you linked - he's a very reliable source for info.
