You'll find the big people enjoy climbing their mountains as well.
In fact, the only thing folks on this forum like better than bickering is climbing mountains. Ah, well, most. :-"
Glad to have you aboard!

Nov 22-24
Nov 27-30
Dec 7-17
Dec 24-25
Dec 27-29

If it's outside those dates, I'd be interested, especially in the Crestones.

Scott, weekend guy, or would you be able to do some weekdays?
Crestones are high on the list after December 21, and wouldn't mind a pre-season preview.
Would you be down for a carcamp daytrip?

Hi all -

is anyone interested in carpooling from Boulder or Lafayette on Saturday morning?

Please post or send a PM.
Lv at 6:30? Start walking at 8:30? 3.5 hrs to top makes it 12.

greetings mountainute

Mostly weekends. Maybe we can talk about some plans while on Quandary.
I'm slow and fat. Unfortunately, those are my good qualities.

I know someone would say that after I posted it

I'll be driving from Colorado Springs if anyone wants to carpool. Just PM me.

Looks like I'll have two spots in my Forester for carpooling. I'm at 136th and I-25 in Thornton. Can swing by the wooly mamouth lot also. PM or message me if you need a ride.

This noob may join if he can stomach the idea of buying another pair of expensive hiking boots. The new boots were accidently forgotten on the west side of Humphrey Peak near Flagstaff.

Officially in for this, I'll see everyone Saturday morning.

Do nothing in haste, look well to each step, and from the beginning think what may be the end.'" - Edward Whymper

If the Jeep gets out of the shop by close of business tomorrow, I'm coming! (Love JEEPS, but they are liking owning a boat...HIGH MAINTENANCE!) Probably get up there around 10 PM and car camp. As I am not an early riser, I would anticipate an 8 a.m. start. Any plans for after the climb? Are people staying? Dinner in Breckenridge? (Big fan of the 'Avalanche' homebrew)

Don't want to hijack the thread, but it looks like a couple of us will be on a nearby 13er, North Star - and feel free to look down upon us  . We'll waive at you! I am not unti-social, so maybe we'll link up for lunch with the big group after the hike...

A few of us will be on the other side of the pass on Red and Hoosier.

Sarah (thePhoenix) and I will be joining in tomorrow night and hiking Quandary on Saturday.

Where are most people camping?
