Any weekday climbers on the front range?

Postby wrxpilot » Tue Sep 03, 2013 7:49 am

Hey all,

I almost always work weekends and have weekdays off. It's nice having the peaks to myself, but most everybody I know is working and it's tough finding people to climb with.

I mostly do class 2, but recently did my first class 3 (Bierstadt/Evans sawtooth) and am looking forward to attempting more class 3 and possibly even 4 eventually. Really hoping to do Long's before it snows too.

I'm 36, live in Denver, and have a 4wd!

Are you able to climb on Thursdays or Fridays?

Typically I have Mon-Thurs off (and available for climbing), and occasionally a Fri.

Cool man, sounds good! It's so much better on the weekdays too... We were up at Grays/Torreys this weekend, holy crap there were a lot of people! A couple of weeks ago I was on the top of Bierstadt without a soul in sight, on a Friday. Didn't see one person until I got to Evans. It's like going back in time 20 years.

I bartend in the city of Denver and work at 3/5 PM, and have off Mondays and Tuesdays. I am looking to bag the Wilsons with El D, Capitol, and next week Kit and Challenger.
