I will try to be there. Depends on how work goes tomorrow.

I'll try to show up too. Haven't been to one of these in a minute. :-D

Would anyone like to do a climbing thing in the Garden or RRCOS before heading over? You know, it's only 10 minutes from there. I'd be glad to host.

I'm guessing you will want to climb Credibility Gap at GOG since it has shiny new bolts.

England, why don't you join us tonight? It's not far from Cheyenne Canon. It would be great to meet you!

So we do have a reservation for 25-30 people and they are supposed to set aside an area for us. I told them it was for 14ers.com, but it might be under my name, John. I plan to get there 15 minutes early and make sure everything is ready to go. So if you don't know where to go just ask and they should be able to point you in the right direction.

Another great outing, thanks John for organizing. Always very cool to listen to people's stories/experiences. Didn't get to talk to everyone, but starting to recognize folks.

"When I was a child, I felt there was something I had to find before I died. I imagined it as some lost, golden country, glittering on the other side of the mist across our neighbor's fields, hidden within the shadows behind our stone wall—some place beyond the fixed patterns of society, the grey chronology that led inexorably to death. In my twenties, on my first free solo, the light seemed to shatter through me, and the sky pour down the rock. Like so many climbers, immersed in that sudden, radiant awareness of now, I've had that brief and total conviction that each moment is both fleeting and eternal"-Katie Ives

Here's a few shots from the Happy Hour - nice meeting you all! It was cool talking with Stewart Green; had no idea he was with Spencer Swanger on the very first ascent of Thunder Pyramid. So cool! =)

I'll let everyone else add user names. :-)

Matt,
Great pictures. Thanks for posting...
But where is a picture of you?
You're gonna have to hand over that camera for a minute at the next one!

Great to see you all again, and meet some new folks, too! Matt, your little guy is precious - made me miss my own two boys, who are all grown up and off having their own adventures now.

Thanks to all for sharing your stories of the Wind River Range, and Capitol Peak, and California, and all those other places I need to get back to one of these days.

See y'all again next month!
