13er partners

Need a climbing partner? Trying to form a hiking group for an outing?

13er partners

Postby KevinK » Mon Aug 12, 2013 2:17 pm

I really need to meet some new 13er climbing partners. I've done about 125 now and i mostly climb random peaks that look interesting (scrambling or grassy ridge runs preferred). Also, I've been stalled out at the end of the centennials for a couple years now and want to finish up and be done with mtn lists. I'd love partners for all of the above though I'd want to do some easier scrambles before getting into anything too difficult with a new person. I've got a very flexible schedule so get in touch

I'm interested in more 13ers, would like to complete some of the multi-peak loops that Furthermore and bergsteigen have posted TRs for, but my limit is about 6,000' of gain/loss per day.

yeah, really.

p.s. I am interested in partners for 13ers, even for those that don't involve 6k gain day. ;)

Glad to see some responses on here. I'm way behind this summer but I finally have a lot of time opening up and want to get some peaks. I'd really like to find partners for some scrambling this weekend (Electric/Cathedral anyone?) and maybe next Tuesday. The rest of my August is packed in but I have no plans for September yet and would love to get out with you all.

Any interest in Broken Hand Peak (13,573') and Crestolita (13,270') next Tuesday? I'll be in the Sangres anyway camping.

Hey kiefer. Actually I am very interested in those two and I haven't seen you in a long time. I think they might be a little too big for my Tuesday though as I'm packing into Vestal basin that Friday and want to be relatively fresh. Could you do them Saturday if I can't find a partner for cathedral?

Alas, I cannot. My set days off are Monday & Tuesday.
However.....I'll be moving soon and I'll have a couple weeks or so of total freedom.
Let's plan on something in late September.

Crestolita looks amazing from BH Peak. I was drooling all over it, but didn't have time, unfortunately. Enjoy the views.
And hey, please include me in your "late September" plans as long as they don't include Pigeon and Turret. ;)
