Evening Flatirons this week?

Postby Brian C » Mon Jul 15, 2013 8:09 am

Anybody interested in doing some evening climbing in the Flatirons this week? I'm also available in the mornings if that works for you too, just a tad less hot later in the day. I'd be more than happy to lead all of the pitches and am open to doing just about any route or solo or whatever. Just would love to get and and enjoy some company.

Shoot me a PM if interested!

Is anyone interested in carpooling from Colo Springs?

Cheers,

Had fun climbing Schmoe's Nose a few evenings ago!

Anybody up for next week? I'm out this weekend but would love to do something else next week. Some off-the-trodden-path thoughts I have are...
Front Porch to Lost Porch
Harmon's Flatironette to the Seal
Third, Fourth and Fifth Pinnacles in Gregory Canyon

Once again, I'm more than happy to lead everything and have zero issues with less experienced folks. Cheers!

Brian,

I would be interested in the Seal next week. Isn't Harmon's Flatironette under closure?

Let's do Thursday! I likely can do other days but will be out of town until Tuesday. Would Thursday work for anybody?

Dave - I think you're right about Harmon. Forgot that one was in the bat closure so it's out until Oct. 1. The cave is permanently closed year round but I'm under the understanding that the rock can be climbed as long as you climb the other side (100 feet away).

Noah - Let's do Eldo too!!! Something under 5.11 though.

I could possibly make it next Thursday. But I'm really into last minute plans lately. (That's so totally unlike me. )

Edit: although my preference would be for something other than Seal Rock, since I just did that last week.
