I was a little surprised you didn't hit the ramp at the bottom and launch directly into the trees with the speed you were carrying. Not entirely sure it's normal to catch 3 feet of air during a glissade.

Hey Boggy B, thanks for the picture! I'm the one in the yellow jacket, 2nd in line. We did eventually summit at 2:47pm. We glissaded down that West Ridge gulley too.
