Denver Happy Hour (April 4)

Postby SurfNTurf » Mon Mar 25, 2013 4:46 pm

I've had a few requests for a DTC-area happy hour, but Mandy and I agree that for now staying more-or-less central is the most fair for everyone. That doesn't mean we won't try to accommodate, and we've done a pretty good job of hitting almost every neighborhood Denver has to offer. Cherry Creek is one we haven't done in a while. I hope it's a little more convenient for those coming up from the south while remaining doable for the downtown and northern residents.

This place is brand spankin' new and just opened March 13.

WHAT: 14ers Denver Happy Hour
WHEN: 6-10 p.m. Thursday, April 4
WHERE: World of Beer, 660 South Colorado Boulevard, Denver

Come check out a new bar and dial in your couloir-season plans. See y'all there...

“There are two kinds of climbers: those who climb because their heart sings when they’re in the mountains, and all the rest.” - Alex Lowe

"There have been joys too great to describe in words, and there have been griefs upon which I cannot dare to dwell; and with those in mind I say, 'Climb if you will, but remember that courage and strength are nought without prudence, and that a momentary negligence may destroy the happiness of a lifetime. Do nothing in haste, look well to each step, and from the beginning think what may be the end.'" - Edward Whymper

FYI this is the same night as FOBP Amateur Film Fest at the WildyX, which will have free beer.

Perfect! I wanted to make the last gathering but plans changed last minute. This is right next to my office so I have no excuse this time!

I anticipate being there. Seems like I have gone the last several times minus Punch Bowl.

I am hoping to get out for this one. Still a bit too far out to know for sure.

I'll try and make it. I work just around the corner as well.

$15 gets you into their loyalty program, by the way. A meager 500 (different) beers and they throw you a party! It's a great place.

Define "up north" - I'll be coming from Westminster/Broomfield (US-36 and 104th) and would be happy to carpool.
