Is it Friday or Saturday?

Lackawanna would be Saturday, but I'm open to do something on Friday as well.

PS, are most people planning on driving down very early Saturday morning, camping or staying somewhere? Leadville Hostel is $23 a night. Camping wouldn't be bad either.

Just wondering if I should bring some firewood and stuff.

I'd love to connect with you Friday Scott. I just got back from a long trip to New Orleans so the altitude might get me more than usual, but I need to get back into the mountains air after that.

I'm up for a Saturday climb for Lackawanna and can carpool from Denver early morning if anyone would like to join.

We're planning on camping, since we'll have our dog. We're still interested in a Friday hike as well as Lackawanna (planning to get a look at the snow before committing to a route, if possible). Our reception will likely be spotty this week, but I'll try to check back on this thread by Thursday to look for times and meeting locations (doubtful that I'll check PMs).

I'd be interested in Friday. Not that picky what - it would be nice to tick one off the list in the leadville area - Columiba, Oxford, Holy Cross, Taby... or even peak one or buffalo at Frisco/Silverthorne. I live in Frisco.

Early forecast doesn't look good for Friday/Saturday. Something to keep an eye on.

I noticed that. A couple days ago, the forecast said sunny and dry, but is looking stormier as time passes:

Would anyone that's off Friday want to attempt La Plata or Yale?

I'd be up for anything on Saturday. If Lackawanna, I'd prefer the snowgully, conditions permitting.

We'll take a look at it Friday and test conditions. I'll post detailed directions to the trailhead tomorrow. I think meeting around 5:30 AM would be a good idea, if that's OK with everyone.

I've already done both in winter and don't have much desire to repeat them. Maybe someone else might be interested though.

For those interested in Bull Hill Friday, what time do you want to start?

PS, my cell # is 208-859-1697 and I'll be leaving tomorrow evening. I won't have my cell with me until 4:30 or so.
