For whatever it's worth, I'm gonna try and make a trip down tomorrow if it's still happening.

I can probably make it on the 10th as well if it moves there. Not the 17th.

I'm good for either of those and putting it off is probably a little better for me. Thanks for organizing!
You cannot stay on the summit forever; you have to come down again. So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know. - Rene Daumal

I'm good for tomorrow; sounds like each of the first three weeks will have some conflict of interest, so why not just keep it on the first Thur, so it sets it up for next month.

What's wrong with a smaller more intimate gathering? There are probably a bunch of people who will likely go, who are just not posting about it.

I agree - stick with 1/3 (tomorrow)... I've heard from several who will be coming in for this one, and spent 15 minutes one day last week talking one of yous into coming down so I can personally whip her in every table and dart game imaginable.
I once knew a place called "the trail",
Where my body used to thrive without fail.
But then life got in the way; The trail waits for another day,
While the next pant size soon arrives in the mail.

“There are two kinds of climbers: those who climb because their heart sings when they’re in the mountains, and all the rest.” - Alex Lowe

"There have been joys too great to describe in words, and there have been griefs upon which I cannot dare to dwell; and with those in mind I say, 'Climb if you will, but remember that courage and strength are nought without prudence, and that a momentary negligence may destroy the happiness of a lifetime. Do nothing in haste, look well to each step, and from the beginning think what may be the end.'" - Edward Whymper
