A buddy and I are thinking about climbing James Peak on Saturday. Probably not a super-early start, maybe 7 or 8. We'll be coming from Fort Collins.

Idont know much about James Peak, but am interested. What class is it? Are you thinkingof the Saint Marrys approach? Do you know if crampons are going to be needed, or if micro spikes will suffice?

Just read up on James Peak, Sounds good too me, I'm in. It will be nice to avoid alot of the ski traffic with a close by, shorter hike. I will send you a pm.
