Dang, I'll be at a wedding in Chelan, Washington. Looking forward to being there one of these days!

Mountain Rescue Aspen is aware of the gathering. They may have representation.[/quote]

That would be excellent. They can climb some mountains.

Anyone from the Fort Collins area have room for a couple of people who only have 2WD? I would love to hit up Snowmass during the gathering.

I am now not going to be able to make this gathering after all . :(

I've got a climbing friend who I told I would be there for his 14er finisher, and so I'll be climbing in the Front Range during this weekend.

Have fun and be safe...especially around the campfire which is probably the crux of the weekend!

Is anyone considering a Snowmass-Hagerman traverse? It sounds gnarly, but hey, it could be the 2010 Alpine Junk Show part II (http://www.14ers.com/php14ers/tripreport.php?trip=9254&parmpeak=1840&cpgm=tripmain&ski=Include) :)

I can't make the gathering, but...

I've had my eye on that traverse for some time. Some say it changed their life. Others say its only Class 4.

Of course, there is only one way to find out 8)
You can touch the void, just don't fall into it.
I fly a starship across the universe divide....and when I reach the other side...I'll find a place to rest my spirit if I can. Perhaps I may become a Mountain Man again.
To me there is only one style of climbing, Alpine Style.
