Yes, but I told my wife I'd be skiing, so please don't tell her I'm on a 14er again.

Looks prime for a snowlerblade descent. Sadly the temptation of challah french toast and good coffee combined with afternoon commitments means I won't be making it. Have fun and stay safe.

If anyone wants the full size images of any of the following let me know. On the full size images when you zoom in, you can see all of the Winter Welcomer climbers going up and some almost to the top at about 9:30 am.

Great meeting everyone on a windy day on Quandary ! And thanks to Dancesatmoonrise for organizing !

Here's one group's summit shot. Feel free to ID yourself. I'm the one in the Barney purple colored jacket with her googles off and the smile frozen on her face.

Here's a shot of "Princess Natalie" arriving on the summit.

And here's a shot of what most of the ridge looked like with the windy spindrift.

Since I was one of the early birds, I didn't get a chance to meet everyone, but said hi to a few of you on the way down. I certainly remember the Princess Natalie. The summit wind was insane when I was up there. Hopefully, it died down by the time others got up there, but I am guessing it didn't. Thanks to Dancesatmoonrise for organizing.

It was good meeting some of you folk, was a little scattered thanks to the wind and weather - I am surprised you got a good summit shot! The only 14ers tag I caught was CarpeDiem and his goat lovin' puppy. That's what I get for introducing myself by Dave I guess. A few friendly folks out on the mountain though. Eric, thanks for destroying me I really needed that. Ned from BV! Mario & Luigi! The girl who goes when nature calls no matter where she is, you know who you are! Orion (sp?), hope you made your flight - it should have been close! Sorry I missed out on the cookies!

Thanks all, especially Jim for throwing down.
Climb.

It was very nice meeting everybody today. One thing about the tiara you should know - it was securely attached to my head for the duration of the hike - even in those 30-40 mph gusts, in complete compliance with "LNT behind" principles. Amazing workmanship! I will post my few photos later. Happy Halloween :)
