Rematch - Missouri North Face couloirs

Postby Mountain Ninja » Tue May 10, 2011 5:09 pm

I'm hoping that the weather allows for a safe attempt at Missouri's North Face couloirs next week. I'm looking to climb this on Tuesday or Wednesday. Anyone interested?

And we won't know for sure until we're able to check avy safety just prior to this climb, but I'm hoping that avy danger is significantly dropped by mid-next week, compared to the group that was going to attempt it last weekend. Thoughts on this?

No interest, Brad, but you're welcome to join me for Huron. There is a litt too much snow predicted for the coming days to consider those couloirs given the conditions last weekend.

Hmm yes, I'm definitely going to keep an eye on the snow in the next few days. If it still sucks and is too avy prone, obviously I'm not doing it this soon, but I thought I'd throw the idea out there and see who'd be interested if the conditions do wind up being okay.
