Colorado Springs. Happy Hour Night?

Need a climbing partner? Trying to form a hiking group for an outing?

So it sounds like the 9th, but where?

If the date gets pushed back I'm in as I officially depart OK and become a CO resident on the 10th. If not, I'm sure there will be more!

Yeah, I went looking for this thread yesterday. I wasn't sure if it was the 2nd or the 9th.

Thanks Jim (Dancesatmoonrise) for mentioning this event to me. I am planning to show up. Anyone else from the Castle Rock area that's interested, let me know, we can carpool.

Zach,

I just checked with Phantom Canyon. Eric won't be allowed entrance to the second floor after 6 pm, and he would like to go. On the other hand, the first floor serves beer for those in the group drinking, and he would be allowed to be there.

So were what floor were we planning to meet?

Thanks!

Jim

Yup, that's correct, the billiards hall is 21-and up after 6pm. I checked the reservations book today, and there's a banquet reservation for the billiards hall from 7-10 on the 9th, as well, so it might be a bit crowded. The 1st floor might be a better option, or another pub. If you haven't been, Trinity Brewery is pretty sweet as well. (Don't tell Phantom that I'm suggesting the competition!)

One big problem with Trinity Brewery is that they have the worst chairs yet created by man to provide a place to sit. They are high stools made of steel with no backs and tiny seats, custom designed to cause screaming back spasms. Oh, and their prices are pretty high.

Jim-
If Eric wants to join then we can all meet up downstairs. He's got more experience than half of the people that'll show up (including myself), I'd be more than happy to accommodate Eric if he wants to come. Might be a litle more dificult to find enough seats but I think we'll manage. Maybe we can get Ryan to help us out  .
