Here's "the other Sean" working on the pinkpoint of Rainbow Bridge, 5.11a. Nice Garden slab climbing.

Sorry, I'm just not as cool as you.

Hey - the "Springs Climbers Afternoon Social Club" is no big deal - I mean, it's not like we serve tea and crumpets. So come on out and join us!

We're pretty much open to everyone from beginners to hot-dogs.

Here's a mini-TR. We were on the west side of N Gateway Saturday afternoon, and the east side of Kindergarten Sunday morning.

Stellar early Fall weekend at the Garden. We were there both days. There is a meet-up group that has a lot of beginners (the beginners got some tips from Jimmy Dunn on Saturday) and there is also a related group of us that climbs at the Garden, RRCOS, Shelf, and the S. Platte - so please feel free to join us. The next event for the meet-up group will be Shelf this weekend. I'll likely be there with some of the usual suspects - please feel free to join the meet-up group, or to contact me to hook up with the informal group - or both. Don't be shy, we love company.

Hope everyone had a great, great weekend!

Still doing the Wednesday thing at RRCOS till the time change. Trying to get out there a ittle earlier - say, 4 or 4:30.

It must have been mountaineers' night. We had four or five folks that have over half the 14ers under their belt - two with a dozen left to go, and one 14er completer - Britt!
Gearing up for those 5th class centennials, Britt led "Pikes Peak," a 5.7 just left of Ripple Wall. Nice work, Britt!

Anaconda in the Garden.

Give it a go, great route. The lower section is only 10b, protects well, also has some fixed pins. Classic route.

Hey guys how does a newbie get into rock climbing here in the Springs? Any suggestions on a course, class, or club? I've been hiking for years but want to take it to the next level, but by doing it the right way. The pics in this thread are what I invisioned myself doing when I move to CO from OH. Thanks for any help.
