14ers.com T-Shirts Design

Postby BillMiddlebrook » Mon Sep 10, 2007 3:03 pm

Now that crspeedy gave me a nudge to get back on the t-shirts, here is the first, simple t-shirt. Several of you mentioned leaving the peak list off of the first shirt and I think I agree because most other 14er t-shirts have had peak lists.

The back includes "Colorado, 14000" which may be a bit confusing to some. It's intended to resemble a zipcode, but we all know what the magic number means. Too goofy?

Thoughts? Colors ok? Don't be shy.

I like it and I would buy one, maybe two. I even like the "Colorado 14000". It may generate some questions from the uninitiated, but for those in the know, it will be a sign of recognition of sorts.

Is the shirt grey? That would be my vote.

Thanks for doing this!!!

I preferred the one that had the list of 14ers on it.

how about the shirt color being a brownish/maroonish color like the main background of the default webpage?

also, just a suggested thought ...

How about COLORADO 14001-14433

I like it and would definitely buy one. I think brown, evergreen and navy would be good colors for the shirt.

I like the synthetic fabric idea too, but printing on synthetics could be difficult and the cost for a quality shirt would be much higher than it would be a for a quality cotton shirt.

Synthetic fabric is the great since I don't wear any cotton T-shirt any more. You can have it two ways: syn or cotton -- sell one a few $$ more than the other.

I like the 14000 "zip" 8)

Not to make things even more complicated but would it be possible to do kids sizes as well?

I think you should say 56 peaks or whatever count you choose also.
I bet your would make some really good cash if you really listen to people's feedback.
