double boot resole

Postby Winter8000m » Fri Sep 06, 2013 12:14 pm

Anyone know a place that gets the job done well on a sturdy pair of double boots? Never have done it. Always used rock and resole for rock shoes but they no longer do it for anything else

I would try Komito's in Estes Park. He's been resoling boots for me for decades, although never any
doubles.

I don't have any double boots, but I've taken my leather boots to Perry's Shoe Shop in Boulder for resoling, and been very happy with the results, might give them a call.

I had a pair of Koflach doubles resoled at Perry's a couple of decades ago. These guys were real pros and did an excellent professional quality job, unlike some of the other resolers around. Highly recommended.

Komito's has a great reputation and if they say they can do it I'm sure they can. I just don't have any personal experience with them resoling plastics.

I had a pair of hefty old leather Zamberlans resoled at Perry's, and they did a great job.
