Highgear Weatherport?

Postby chrismjx » Sat May 11, 2013 10:30 pm

Does anyone have any experience with this little gadget? I've always wished I had access to weather info (ideally radar too) when out hiking, and I saw this on and was curious...

Between checking the forecast and learning to read clouds, what more do you need? Just buy that gadget, pluck the battery, and you'll have one of these which will likely me more accurate as that device will likely say "Sunny 80" when it's 55 and you're getting chased off the summit by hail. "Can't be hail. My Weatherport Data Center says it's sunny!"

Image BTW, don't where they took the picture, but if that's their temp at midnight, I don't want to camp there! :wft: --> Image
Not sure if I'll do more 14ers. The trip reports are too tiring.
