Re: Favorite Beer?
Am I getting too accustomed to high ABV beers or does this beer really hide its 8.8% ABV really well?

Re: Favorite Beer?
I'm not sure why this thread died, but Eddyline has been putting out some great IPAs in cans lately. Crank Yanker is really solid, and Epic Day (DIPA) is exceptionally good. It's made with citra, mosaic, and simcoe hops.
Odd13's "Codename: Superfan" is a great canned IPA that I could drink a lot of.

+1 to Eddyline. Their River Runner Pale Ale is my favorite.
My favorite CO brewery is Crazy Mountain Brewing in Edwards. Great vibe, very dog friendly, excellent beers, very convenient right off I-70. They have a tea beer that is to die for. The new location in Denver just won't have the same vibe so I'm not too enthused to check it out.

Re: Favorite Beer?
WeldWerks in Greeley is probably my new favorite brewery in CO. Built in an old auto showroom, really cool atmosphere. Their beers are amazing from top to bottom as well.

Re: Favorite Beer?
I like everything I have tried at Rockcut Brewery in Estes Park. They are fairly new (2015) and are located to the East of the EP Brewery and the large slide. Check it out after a Longs or RMNP climb. I'm not real big on IPA's but I really like their Black IPA. I don't think they have food though. They are open until 10 each night now but I'm guessing hours may change for winter. I have to like their logo too since I'm pretty sure it represents Longs:

Re: Favorite Beer?
Brought a couple of these back from Russia (packed nicely in my sleeping bag in checked luggage), after summiting Mount Elbrus a few weeks ago. "5642" is the elevation of Elbrus in meters. Actually not a bad tasting beer at all.

Re: Favorite Beer?
This thread has been neglected for a while. Let's fix that.
As a big fan of Stone products, I always like seeing a new one. This one, RIPPER IPA, is very good and less leaded than some. About 6 ABV.
Highly recommended for those light days.

I'm turning into a beer snob. I've come a long ways since my college days drinking Keystone and Natty Ice.
