Wow, you guys and your spacious living quarters. When you only have 200 square feet to your name, you learn how to organize everything really well, or you just leave it all in your car. I'm a fan of the latter, that way I never have to pack, i just leave early enough to find all my gear before I start climbing.

cushman, what is that on your basement walls?
when the moon first rose tonight, my eyes were met with such a beautiful sight. a feeling deep inside so hard to explain, so familiar yet impossible to name. this is the place where dreams come true, a part of me and a part of you. this is where our spirits fly, on beams of light across the sky...and i'll meet you, in the valley of the full moon. as bright as the sun, in the middle of the afternoon.

Gear! No, it's insulation.

My storage system is more like a big mess. I know where everything is but I couldn't tell anyone where to find something.

Why use insulation? Just stick a sleeping bag between each stud.

Alas, even when I am present in my basement, there are no studs.

Nice to see this thread back...I will post my new gear closet pic soon. It seems that I will have much more gear very soon. Steepandcheap.com just relaunched tramdock.com as a ski gear only clearing house =D> . I have shredded my credit card and I may have to put myself on restrictions. but I do need new boots...

Looking for a new system? Here's a decent one...

Gear Fudging Closet (some of it)...

That looks like TGC's gear closet... :D
