It's cool. He's wearing a helmet.

Cool shot. Though looks a little rotated (CCW) based upon my memory of it.

PS... I don't think your shot is far off the mark.

Here is a shot I've always admired - Ken got this one of Jean on that same section. When I first saw this, my thought was: "Wait a minute. I have to do that???"
After a severe tongue-lashing (via email,) I realized there was no living it down. [-X [-o< :-D

Fixed it for you. You did say it needed to be rotated CCW?

Clouds. Dead giveaway.
I am unable to walk away from the mountain without climbing it. An unclimbed mountain tugs at my consciousness with the eternal weight of time itself. Until I've pressed my face into it's alpine winds, hugged it's ancient granite walls, and put it's weathered summit beneath my heal I'm unable to resist it's attraction.Knowing nature gives the mountain more time than she gives us adds urgency to the obsession. As has been said before; the mountain doesn't care.

It can wait forever. I cannot.

Isn't that the east side of the Daly-K2 ridge (Daly background), as opposed to the labeled "Capitol Ridge" (K2-Capitol)?
Not sure if I'll do more 14ers. The trip reports are too tiring.
