Photos of crowded peaks?
Does anyone have a picture of a very crowded summit I could use (and credit you with) for a college project?
Surely someone has a Bierstadt or Grays photo with a hundred people up there, right?

I have several on my laptop at home, but I'm at work right now. I'll try to remember to post them later. I have one of Grays and one of Yale for sure. One of Massive too I think.

Not hundreds but,

- A mountain is not a checkbox to be ticked
- Alpinism and mountaineering are not restricted to 14,000 foot mountains
- Judgment and experience are the two most important pieces of gear you own
- Being honest to yourself and others about your abilities is a characteristic of experienced climbers
- Courage cannot be bought at REI or carried with you in your rucksack

How do people hike in jeans? I know it is just G & T, but isn't it super uncomfortable?

Bierstadt, taken from the east ridge early this summer, and the parking area by Guanella Pass on that same day.

Wow, Wetterhorn used to be a nice green summit. Now it looks like it has been trampled.

Does it have to be a Colorado 14er? Search "Half Dome cables."

This is the best I got, Bierstadt in Mid-June two years ago.
I try my damnedest to avoid mountains like these in summer now.
