While the original post was mainly requesting scenics, I propose that this subject be opened up to any type of beautiful photo.

The following is what I consider to be one of the most beautiful images I've captured so far this year. Hope you enjoy it.

Sorry for the low quality. Miscellaneous gear upgrades keep getting in the way of the fancy camera purchase.
- A mountain is not a checkbox to be ticked
- Alpinism and mountaineering are not restricted to 14,000 foot mountains
- Judgment and experience are the two most important pieces of gear you own
