Thank you!

Postby Dancesatmoonrise » Wed Aug 10, 2011 12:21 pm

I want to thank everyone who's been so encouraging with the photography. Finally have a couple shots published.

One comes out in the next issue of Rock & Ice, table of contents page, issue #197 I believe. Should be out by the end of this month. (October issue, I think.) It was a shot of Josh Wharton's first free ascent of the Dunn-Westbay route on the Diamond on July 23, 2011.

Then Black Diamond contacted me and they're using one of the shots for their online journal.

I'm pretty excited about it. I want to thank everyone for the support and encouragement.

That's incredible! Getting photos published is a dream of mine and seeing you stoked out on your first pubs really encourages me to work harder at improving my photog skills. With so many shutterbugs out there these days getting published is truly something to be proud of.

I salute you sir. =D>

Thanks, everyone. I owe you guys a lot, believe me. This is such an incredible community we have!

Mark, yes, they have the digital editions, but I don't think you can get the latest newstand print online. Anyway, here's a link:
