Wow. Here's a learning experience. I obviously spent too much time editing the original image I posted and lost all ability to correctly judge color. I looked at it again after a few hours and realized how blue it was. The second image is what I thought the first image looked like after the initial edit.

Aww, Geojed. Such a cute kid. :D Looks like he's ready to start hiking mountains!

Some awesome shots on here. Interesting cloud formation in the Denali shots.
Mountains cast spells on me - Why, because of the way Earth-heaps lie, should I be Chocked by joy mysteriously; stilled or drunken-gay? Why should a brown hill trail Tug at my feet to go? Why should a boggy swale Tune my heart to a nameless tale Mountain marshes know?

That's the Chandelier Ballroom in Lechuguilla Cave (Carlsbad Caverns NP). It's about 900ft underground.

"The sun sets on Glacier Gorge."

Long's Peak......by sunlight or moonlight its splintered grey crest is the one object which unfailingly arrests the eyes. From it come all storms of snow and wind, and the forked lightenings play around its head like a glory. The thunder becomes its voice, and the lightenings do it homage. Other summits blush under the morning kiss of the sun and turn pale the next moment; but it detains the first sunlight and holds it round its head for an hour at least, till it please to change from rosy red, to deep blue; and the sunset, as if spell-bound, lingers latest on its crest. - Isabella Bird, 1873

Had to be said.
