Some absolutely KILLER photos posted here! Definitely some shots worth while of poster/wall material.

I think Kimo is right. B/W shots don't always transpose right from colour. Seems to be all about lighting. Ansel was truely gifted.

That's the truth right there. Adams may not have climbed the tallest mountains but he understood their intricacies like the greatest mountaineers.

Sometimes when the color is removed the image becomes flat and loses its pop. But high contrast shots seem to convert well into black white.

Took this up near Lackawanna on Saturday. The streams are emerging.
