Here's a few. The quality isn't too great since I didn't have my DSLR in those days.

It's been a while since this thread has seen any action. Post 'em up!

I was hoping to get some Milky Way images on Bison Peak last Saturday, but a long storm and evening cloud cover prevented that from happening. I took this shot as a test to see how close I could get to this rock formation with my lens wide open at f2.8 and still keep the background in decent focus. I never got to take this shot with the Milky Way, but I did like the old school look from the vignetting caused by the wide open aperture, and thought it would make a decent black and white. The very lead end of the rock isn't quite in focus, but that's what practice is for, right?

I just updated my Lightroom CC so I could try out its new dehaze slider. My pictures from a hike up Horn Peak last year were very hazy, so I decided to try out the new slider some of them. In the process, I rediscovered this shot of Mount Adams along with some moody clouds.

I am unable to walk away from the mountain without climbing it. An unclimbed mountain tugs at my consciousness with the eternal weight of time itself. Until I've pressed my face into it's alpine winds, hugged it's ancient granite walls, and put it's weathered summit beneath my heal I'm unable to resist it's attraction.Knowing nature gives the mountain more time than she gives us adds urgency to the obsession. As has been said before; the mountain doesn't care.

It can wait forever. I cannot.

A couple weekends ago I hiked Chiefs Head with Anna and Kimo. This hike offers absolutely stunning close up views of Longs and surrounding peaks once you hit Mount Orton. The Sandbeach Lake trail is a bit of a drag on the hike out, but those views...
