Great shots of both the bear swimming and the Mtn. Lion cub. If you look carefully, you can see it is still young enough to have spots on its hind quarters. I'm guessing 5-6 months old.

Thanks! Guess I'll post this pic as well, taken while hiking up Pikes Peak yesterday (18 Oct) via Barr Trail.

I took this photo today coming down off of Wheeler Peak, the New Mexico state highpoint. I've taken other pics of these guys, but never one this close.
