Again, like many posters here, I've never met TalusMonkey or USAKeller (or anyone on the forum!), but I'm sending thoughts and prayers. It is odd how personal it seems to read these reports about strangers and how you just want to jump up and do something... Wish I could, but hopefully prayers and good vibes will help!

I have never met the infamous Talus Monkey, but I’ve heard a lot about him from CODave amongst many others on this site…and I have to say I’m really looking forward to climbing with him. I’m positive everything will turn out ok…my thoughts are with the TM…

I hope to buy you a Colt45 sometime after a speedy recovery after SAR gets you down.

Get well soon!

Best wishes,

All my thoughts and prayers to the gods of mountains are with TM. We all here are family, to a great extent. Here's hoping to see a safe return and speedy recovery to one of ours!!

Anyone hear any new news on our Mt Pimp... Figure that SAR should be either already with him or pretty close to it if they did leave at first light. Still praying for you David...

Just talked to Custer County Sheriff,
Quote: "He is alive, he is well, they are with him."

Good news.
"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming WOW! WHAT A RIDE."- Hunter S Thompson
