yikes, with how cold it's been and all the new snow it would be tough to spend the night out there if you weren't prepared.

If anyone knows anything PLEASE contact 9705861204. Park rangers are looking for any info reported 80mph winds blowing snow and stopping searches. I hope hes alright. :(

Park officials are asking that anyone in the Longs Peak area on Sunday to call (970) 586-1204.
Hopefully a few folks can provide some information to aid in the search.

It doesn't look good but we're still hoping for the best.

Wow, I just heard about this. We were flying into Denver yesterday (Monday) morning, just north of Longs. The winds were kicking so much snow up off the ridge that I took this picture... Really hoping for a good outcome.

Last I saw they didn't find any signs of him today. :(

Nothing new -- SAR crews are back out there today, temps are warmer but still windy.
