Re: Climber Deceased On Crestone Peak
I never hiked with Chris but know his name from this site. I am very sorry for your loss and pray, as I have been even for those who knew our other brother, that you will have more and more peace as the days progress. My condolences. God, this is tough stuff.

I can not imagine your loss. May God bless you and your family.

Taylor, I am so sorry for your loss. I never met Chris, but we had exchanged a few PMs about a year ago with plans to do Huron together, but his dog took ill and he had to cancel. I'm sorry I never got the chance to meet him or hike with him. My condolences to his family and friends. May he RIP.

Very sad. I did not know Chris, but recognize his "handle", saw some of his posts.

Chris struck me as a very good person. "Unfortunate" is an understatement of an understatement. I am sorry for your, and his, loss.

Taylor -
Your strength at this obvious time of deep sorrow simply amazes me. I'm sorry for your loss. This close forum of climbers has lost yet another life, entirely too soon. It's something I'm struggling to grasp, and I'm sure many others are too. I hope you can find some peace knowing Chris was doing something he loved when he left this life for another. May God bless you, your family, and his friends. RIP Chris.
