Ten Mile Range Snow Beta

Postby clemsonmtneer » Wed Jun 26, 2013 10:18 am

Looking to get one last ski descent in before switching to full-on summer mode, and thinking about checking this area out. Has anyone gotten a good look at the Hawaii Couloirs on Pacific Peak, or the Atlantis Couloir on Atlantic Peak recently? (or anything else that's still skiable in the area)

Went up Pacific last Saturday with Kristine & pups and wrote a little entry with pics on our site: http://brandonandkristine.com/colorado-13ers/pacific-peak/

Hopefully, some helpful photos in there.

Not Tenmile, but La Plata's N. face looks OK in this report on Ted Mahon's blog:

These photos are exactly what I was looking for, thanks for posting! Looks like the couloirs are holding up quite well considering it's almost July. Beautiful dog by the way... golden retrievers are awesome hiking companions.

La Plata's N face does like kinda tempting... had forgotten all about that one.

Of course Fritz is still out there finding lines, his TR from Grizzly makes that still look pretty good:
