Lincoln/Bross Beta

Postby skipig » Fri Jun 14, 2013 9:37 am

Hi there, has anyone been to the Lincoln/Bross area recently? Looking for beta on the Russian Couloir and/or Moose Creek on Bross for possible ski early this coming week. Anyone have eyes on these lines recently? Thanks!

Also curious about conditions around those 4 14ers. Any pics of Democrat or Bross from Kite Lake. Wondering if the South Slope on Democrat or "S" Gully on Bross are skiable. If not it sounds like the North Face of Democrat is still. Thinking Monday.
Live today like yesterdays history and tomorrows a mystery.

I skied Democrat on Monday, and was intent on skiing the S on bross on tuesday, but fierce winds deterred us. It has been warm, but on Tuesday, the S looked perfectly skiable and playful. Send it now!

yeah not so much on the s couly.. went and did emma chutes based on a ski to the car TR report a week or so ago. as of Saturday-15th chutes where somewhat patchy, one fellow skied off to the east face and got much closer to the car. North Democrat couly is in but a very short run for the effort. Basically no snow all the way to the base of the couly. S was not in, looked very thin and 25-30ft crux of rock about 3/4 of the way up. snow is melting fast!
