Fair enough. Here's a few actual shots of the NW Bowl, Fletcher's Northwest Face and some ski action. Maybe not technically couloirs but they're frequently climbed and skied this time of year, thought someone might want the info. Delete if you see fit.

“There are two kinds of climbers: those who climb because their heart sings when they’re in the mountains, and all the rest.” - Alex Lowe

"There have been joys too great to describe in words, and there have been griefs upon which I cannot dare to dwell; and with those in mind I say, 'Climb if you will, but remember that courage and strength are nought without prudence, and that a momentary negligence may destroy the happiness of a lifetime. Do nothing in haste, look well to each step, and from the beginning think what may be the end.'" - Edward Whymper

I was just kidding because your photo was, well, a white-out! Yup, there's plenty of good snow climbing (and descending, of course) in that area, with fairly easy access.

Sorry, just misinterpreted your post, haha. Silly Internet and its lack of body language and inflection!

On Kit Carson Friday, I was pretty surprised to see this much snow in Crestone Peak's NW couloir:

Tried to solo Martha last Thursday. Wasn't up for the icy top headwall solo and downclimbing was a little on the intesne side

1st constriction filled in, 2nd was a little mixed interesting move. Saw footprints only at the apron so not tracked out (although this post not gonna help that, sorry).

Does anyone know the condition of Silver Couloir on Buffalo Mountain?

Thanks!
