Spring ski conditions

Postby cheeseburglar » Tue Mar 12, 2013 7:57 pm

Anybody have a prediction yet for when spring ski/coulior conditions will be best? Especially in the Elks.
I have to schedule this vasectomy thing and it sounds like I'll be down for a week.
Cheers!

I communed with the great marmot, and big storms are scheduled for late March.
So mid to late April seems reasonable, unless some April storms happen.

solar aspects will be good to go if we can get a solid freeze. it was in the 50s today at around 9200ft at my house. Snow is on the way this weekend and next week though!

Getting the old snip snip eh?
Yeah Craig, I would say mid April to early May will be the highest probability for good couloir conditions this year. Unless we get a lot more snow, late-May and early-June will not be so good around here. You should snip snip in early June!
