Pikes Peak North Face - ice and snow

Postby mitrik » Tue Jun 12, 2012 10:46 pm

Anyone have a recent photo of the snow and ice coverage on the N face of Pikes? Are there any fun lines which stay normally into July. (we have July conditions now in June) I was at RNMP and there was a fair amount of short lines right off the road. about 200 vert with no time commitment.

Climbed Total Abandon and it was still in. Bring your Goretex though! It's a soaker. Y couloir looks doable but pretty dry. Checking out Blind Assumption today. Can report conditions on that one too if anyone wants it.
