Longs Notch Couloir

Postby bckcntryskr » Wed Jun 09, 2010 7:52 pm

Looking for any recent beta on the snow conditions leading up to the Lambs slide. We would like to skin as much as possible on our way. The last TR was nearly a month ago. Looking for anyone who has been there recently. A couple of photos would be ideal. We are planning the climb/ski for Saturday.....Thanks

You will carry your skis at least as far as Chasm Lake, and probably by
now around the lake. When we did the Notch last Saturday you could walk
across the edge of Chasm Lake on the ice, but it's probably getting pretty
melty by now. Above that you are good to go, I suppose.
