Yep - a huge congrats to you Christy! I read that article this morning and it's over-the-top inspiring to me. That is a huge accomplishment - way to finish in style, and show some female domination on the big peaks! Well done.

Rise and shine, it's beach day.

Wow, that's a great article! I've been following Christy (and Ted) on his website for a few years now. Big kudos to you, Christy! =D>
As if none of us have ever come back with a cool, quasi-epic story instead of being victim to tragic rockfall, a fatal stumble, a heart attack, an embolism, a lightning strike, a bear attack, collapsing cornice, some psycho with an axe, a falling tree, carbon monoxide, even falling asleep at the wheel getting to a mountain. If you can't accept the fact that sometimes "s**t happens", then you live with the illusion that your epic genius and profound wilderness intelligence has put you in total and complete control of yourself, your partners, and the mountain. How mystified you'll be when "s**t happens" to you! - FM

Very cool!
Too bad she gave up the freeheeling.
There are still some firsts left... I don't think anyone's telemarked em all.
And there is my personal goal, to tele from a little below the summit of all of them.

Way to go Christy!

I'm finding it's hard enough just to plan and then go climb all of these peaks...but to ski them all!

To be the first woman....extremely incredible!!!

=D> Congatulations Christy!! =D>

Blaurock and Ervin, the first men to finish the 14ers, did so in 1923.
Mary Cronin became the first woman to complete in 1934.
It took more than 40 years for the first married couple to finish in the seventies.

With Christy's finish, the first woman and first married couple records fell on the same day!!
