Steamboat Springs Snowshoeing

Post by aweskamp »

I'm planning on heading out to Steamboat Springs in two weeks to ski and snowshoe. Does anyone know of any good snowshoeing trails? How are the snowshoeing conditions around there now? Thanks all.

There are many snowshoe trails around Steamboat. Emerald Mountain, Spring Creek, and Fish Creek Falls to the second stream crossing are all good close in snowshoes. Emerald Mountain might be getting slushy lower down if it's a warm day, but there will still be complete snow cover. If you want something harder, you can try Hahns Peak.
