Royal Flush
Has anyone seen recently what Royal Flush looks like ? Weather's been warm lately, but it's mostly North facing, so I have no idea what it looks like.

Re: Royal Flush
Got a good look at it on Friday. Looked mostly dry with some intermittent (smallish) snow patches between the 1st and 2nd and 2nd and 3rd buttresses. I'd think it's totally doable right now.
However, it might be wise not to mention this climb publicly. We've all seen how the cackles of thine transplant Summit-County townies are raised by mere mention of the Gore Range. I fear what may occur if word were to spread of a multi-pitch easy sport climb within minutes of a major interstate highway...
Oh the horror...

Make wilderness less accessible.

I am unable to walk away from the mountain without climbing it. An unclimbed mountain tugs at my consciousness with the eternal weight of time itself. Until I've pressed my face into it's alpine winds, hugged it's ancient granite walls, and put it's weathered summit beneath my heal I'm unable to resist it's attraction.Knowing nature gives the mountain more time than she gives us adds urgency to the obsession. As has been said before; the mountain doesn't care.
It can wait forever. I cannot.
It can wait forever. I cannot.
