What happened to the forum?

Postby tmathews » Thu Apr 19, 2012 1:24 pm

Whoa. The whole look of the forum changed within the last 5 minutes. Was this intentional? Looks alright, I guess.

Yeah, this'll take some getting used to. Sometimes this kind of thing is necessary when you keep adding bells and whistles to old BB software tho.
So pleas'd at first the towering Alps we try,
Mount o'er the vales, and seem to tread the sky,
Th' increasing prospects tire our wand'ring eyes,
Hills peep o'er hills, and Alps on Alps arise!

This will definitely take some getting used to for me, I loved the subtle blue that we had.

I've just gotten used to looking for member information on the right side of the page. :(

Wow! I thought I'd hit the wrong function key!
I just found out if you click on the "Who is Online" link at the bottom of the page, it actually indicates not only who is online, but what they're doing online - reviewing or composing PM's, replying to a specific topic, etc.

LOL, yeah, that's always been there. You just had to know where to look for it.

There's a user called "TheGreatCamillo" looking at the trailheads/roads/camping board. Why does he need to do this? Either his Jeep can get up every road in the state, or he always starts at sea level.

BTW, the old format (prosilver) can still be used if you don't like the new layout. However, I do plan on getting rid of the prosilver layout at some point.

To change it, enter your User Control Panel (now the sprocket icon up top) and click the Board Settings button.
